Description
This SKX GMT takes inspiration from a popular archive colour scheme which captured the scene of the blue sky piercing through clouds. The combination of silvery-white dial with deep blue bezel is designed to resemble sunlight spreading its glow throughout the sky whilst its GMT function tracks multiple time zones.
The bi-colour 24-hour bezel is coated in Hardlex, to ensure durability while the GMT hand improves practicality, visibility and legibility. The ‘beads of rice’ bracelet remains true to the SKX heritage with a ‘five-piece link’ design that forms a series of small X-shaped patterns.
Designed for practical international timekeeping, the GMT hand and high visibility hour markers, along with clear 24-hour bezel, mean multiple time zone calculations can be made at a glance, quickly and easily.
The hands and indices are coated in LumiBrite – fluorescent luminous paint which quickly absorbs light energy, glowing brighter and longer in partial light. LumiBrite starts glowing brightly in the dark and fades slowly.
Seiko 5 Sports is known for over fifty years of reliability, durability, performance and value. ‘’5’’ represents the original five key features of every Seiko 5 still present today: Automatic movement, Day-date display, Water Resistance, Recessed crown and Durable case and bracelet
